The Role
The Senior Manager (Sr. Mgr.) Role is a member of the Wealth Central Finance team and will lead the team supporting the Next Generation Allocation View (NGAV) efforts across the Retail organization. This position will keep the platform and methodologies up to date and relevant for the business. An objective of this role would be in developing subject matter expertise and understanding of key expense and revenue drivers from a Retail customer (household and customer account) point of view. Develop effective, analytical, and consultative capabilities to answer developed business questions around this topic and provide guidance as needed to business partners and the finance community. This will be focused on delivering analysis on the economics and analyzing drivers of profitability.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA preferred. 8+ years of related work experience Strong analytic, interpersonal and communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities Solid knowledge of financial modeling, presentation, and data visualization tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Thinkcell, Tableau, a strong understanding of SQL is a plus) Proven ability to craft presentations for senior management Intellectual curiosity and consultative approach when problem solving with key business partners. Unafraid to ask essential questions. Strong communication skills along with ability to influence others and form relationships across all levels of the organization. Ability and flexibility to manage multiple high-priority, highly visible deliverables in a deadline driven environment. Meticulous attention to detail, to ensure high-quality outputs; proficient with using large data sets, and passionate about using data for decision-making. Demonstrated ability to manage a team formally or informally; Mentoring junior associates to encourage teamwork and boost development. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent training combined with about 6 years’ work experience in FP&A or finance systems, data & reporting. Experience in activity-based costing methodologies as well as an understanding of the revenue model of Fidelity strongly preferred. Strong communication skills along with ability to influence others and form relationships across all levels of the organization.
