Senior Manager, Finance
Dematic is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to serve as a strategic partner to the SVP of Global Procurement. This critical role will help drive profitable growth and cost competitiveness across global procurement operations while ensuring meticulous financial governance and a strong internal control environment.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with demonstrated expertise in financial leadership, strategic planning, business partnering, cost analysis, and full P&L ownership. Success in this role requires the ability to operate confidently at the executive level while remaining highly engaged in execution—combining strong communication skills, analytical precision, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What you Will do in This Role:

Strategic Finance Leadership: Serve as the primary finance business partner to the SVP of Global Procurement, providing strategic mentorship to drive cost competitiveness, operational excellence, and long-term financial value across procurement functions.Financial Planning & Analysis: Take charge of financial planning processes like budgeting and forecasting. Be responsible for $35M in procurement costs across a global organization of 230+ employees.Performance Reporting: Handle executive-level financial reporting, including monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and savings tracking for key procurement initiatives (e.g., Boost-Up workstreams). Translate complex financial data into actionable insights to support business decision-making.Procurement Cost Optimization: Partner with procurement and regional finance leaders to ensure savings initiatives are financially sound, aligned to business strategy, and accurately reflected in financial statements.Financial Controls & Compliance: Build and maintain a strong internal control environment aligned with IFRS and corporate financial policies. Oversee financial governance across procurement operations.Business Partnership & Influence: Act as a proactive, trusted advisor to procurement leadership, driving data-informed decisions and embedding financial discipline into procurement strategy, operations, and transformation initiatives.Process Improvement & Systems Expertise: Lead the development of new tools, dashboards, and analytics to increase transparency and effectiveness. Champion automation, best-in-class practices, and the use of advanced systems including Oracle, Hyperion, SmartView, and Excel.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with global teams across Procurement, Finance, Controlling, and Shared Services to ensure alignment, streamline consolidation efforts, and support strategic priorities.Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of finance professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence in business partnership.

What We are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or other advanced degree preferred).10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or strategic finance roles, with at least 2-5 years in a leadership capacity.Demonstrated experience partnering with operational or non-financial business units, ideally within procurement or supply chain environments.Proven success managing budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and strategic planning in complex or matrixed organizations.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong command of Oracle Financial Planning, Hyperion, SmartView, and/or comparable tools.Solid understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls within a global business context.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into strategic guidance for executive stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines while delivering high-quality, accurate results.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and reporting tools (e.g., TM1) is advantageous.Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, including internationally.
