Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Capital, the Senior Manager, Capital Portfolio Reporting is the top expert responsible for capital planning, governance compliance, strategic alignment, and expertise in capital governance software, data sources, and reporting.

 

What you will do:

 

Responsible for consolidated capital budgeting, reporting and analysis including the foundational systems, tools and processes for ensuring quality and accuracy of a $2-3B portfolio. Accountable for the timely and accurate delivery of Nutrien’s Enterprise monthly capital forecast report, ensuring data integrity and reliability in financial reporting. Facilitate the development of the consolidated annual capital plan and the 5-year capital plan submissions, coordinating efforts across departments to achieve comprehensive budgeting. Support Nutrien's major projects and programs through the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and stakeholder presentations to align objectives with strategic priorities. Assist in ensuring the Capital Portfolio complies with Capital Governance policies, maintaining adherence to internal standards and external regulations. Contribute to the alignment of the 5-year plan with company strategy, supporting strategic planning initiatives and long-term goal setting. Serve as a Project Management Software Expert, specifically for Planisware, enhancing software utilization and project management efficiency.

 

What you will bring:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution. CPA or CFA is a requirement. 10+ years of directly related experience in Financial Analysis or Project Governance. PMP (Project Management Professional) Designation considered an asset. Solid understanding of Nutrien’s business drivers and operating activities considered an asset. The ability to interface with various levels of management in a multi-task, deadline orientated, team environment. Experience in forecast modeling through systems and Excel. Proficiency in Oracle, SAP and Planisware considered an asset. Strong Microsoft Office proficiency - Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, proficiency in Excel a must. Sound, professional judgment and subject matter expertise (SME) in relevant accounting and finance matters. Highly detail oriented.
