We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems. 

In this Senior Manager of Software Engineering role, you’ll lead the development team building, maintaining, and operating Procore's strategic integrations. You’ll partner with internal development teams and external organizations to create high value integrations that extend Procore's capabilities and simplify customer's workflows. Use your people management skills, software engineering experience, and knowledge of APIs, SDKs, and integrations to build, maintain, and operate the strategic integrations that Procore's customers require. 

This position reports into the Director of Engineering for Ecosystem and will be based in our Pune or Bengaluru office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately. Apply today to join our team of Groundbreakers. 

What you’ll do:

Lead a team of software engineers to build, enhance, and operate strategic integrations that Procore maintainsIdentify hiring needs and partner with recruiting through the hiring processEstablish a cadence of regular software delivery utilizing Agile methodsEnsure that engineers satisfy their job responsibilities through individual coaching, code reviews, and regular check-insEnhance software quality by driving test automation and quality gates into the CI/CD processProvide technical leadership to building a robust and scalable integrations that support billions of API callsHelp identify and propose solutions for technical and organizational gaps in our integration capabilities and APIsEnsure integrations are working properly and establishing proper incident management processes to work through outagesEstablish and maintain an on-call schedule for integration supportWork alongside other engineering teams to influence product roadmaps and develop solutions that expand our integration capabilitiesProvide opportunities for career development through promotion, technical growth, and stretch assignments

 

What we’re looking for: 

5+ years experience managing teams of varying sizes and timezones7+ years total experience as a Software EngineerBS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience is preferredExperience in leading fast paced integration engineering teamsIntegration experience with iPaaS platforms (Workato, Boomi, Zapier, MuleSoft, etc..)Familiarity with Ruby, TypeScript, and ReactAbility to lead large initiatives and evaluate current technical and organizational approachesReady to get hands dirty to solve complex problemsPassionate about integration technology, tooling, industry trends, and best practices
