This role, which reports directly to the Head of Skin Creative Marketing, is responsible for developing data-driven performance and growth strategies that result in increased revenue through a seamless and enjoyable site experience for users. The ultimate mission for this role is to optimize conversion and loyalty while managing a highly engaged DTC team that delivers effective merchandising, CRM/loyalty and promotional programs that align with business goals. **Key Responsibilities** **Team Leadership & Strategy;** + Manage and lead in-house DTC team as well as external partners, including merchandising and CRM/loyalty. + Set clear KPIs and performance targets for the DTC team, ensuring alignment with overall business and marketing objectives and overall sales goals. + Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, empowering team members to excel in their roles. **Data-Driven conversion optimization;** + Own and execute the conversion optimization process, using insights and experimentation to enhance site performance and leveraging consumer behavior data, A/B testing, and analytics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. **Promotional Planning & Execution** + Develop and implement promotional campaigns that drive revenue and customer engagement. + Represent the needs of the DTC business in cross-functional planning, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and consumer insights. **Merchandising & Loyalty Programs** + Set strategy for and lead the merchandising team to ensure product presentation and categorization maximize conversion opportunities. + Lead loyalty initiatives to enhance customer retention and lifetime value, aligning with overall business goals. **Tool Utilization & Experimentation** + Stay ahead of industry trends, adopting new tools and technologies to improve site performance. + Use analytics platforms and CRO tools to support experimentation and decision-making. + Apply basic HTML skills to manage and troubleshoot minor website updates when necessary. **Cross-functional leadership** + Partner with cross functional teams to deliver the most optimal experience with our brand for consumers online- across all elements of the user journey. This includes but is not limited to: + Partner with creative team to ensure creation and implementation of onsite messaging to maximize engagement and conversion rates. + Collaborate with cross-functional IT team to ensure cohesive and impactful customer experiences on-site. + Collaborate on development of performance media tactics to drive site traffic improvements with audience insights and learnings. \#LI-Hybrid **Qualifications** **Must-Have Skills:** + Proven experience in ecommerce management, with a focus on DTC strategies with growth results. + Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and setting KPIs. + Analytical and marketing-mindset with expertise in interpreting complex data and turning insights into actionable plans and clear briefs for marketing partners + Familiarity with conversion optimization tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely, Hotjar). + Basic HTML knowledge for minor website updates and troubleshooting. + Proven ability to manage promotional strategies and loyalty initiatives effectively. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify. + Knowledge of customer segmentation and loyalty program tools. + Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and team mentorship.
