Project Related Responsibilities about Senior Manager, Cost Accounting, ISC Finance position: Document and capture relevant and crucial information with critical plant finance roles. Partner with plant finance teams to understand and document variability across local processes to gather data for process re-design. Where applicable, drive operational improvements, maintain, and improve processes and controls and maintain ownership of new processes. **Job Description** **General Duties and Responsibilities:** + Lead a team in preparation of the annual budget and quarterly projection processes including populating relevant templates and partnering with the plant teams to collect and validate data needed for budgets/projections. + Oversee performance of monthly financial close activities including updating and maintaining the General Ledger and monitoring plant costs (e.g., expenses, materials consumed, production order/variance reports, inventories) to assist in strategic decision making. + Direct the weekly/monthly review of plant expenses, volume, scrap, price analysis to identify areas of opportunity and provide guidance to plant management. + Support the Plant by coordinating and managing the forecasts and budgeting of capital expenditures (CAPEX), establishing an action plan with those responsible to ensure its correct execution on time and following the company's policies. + Review annual physical inventory and/or cycle-count program to ensure accuracy + Assist with reporting for the plant related to the following: + Validating production volumes and analyzing leverage + Ensuring that productivity factors are in-line with expectations + Validating that manufacturing variances to standard and start-up costs are accurate + Other ad-hoc analyses as needed. **Job Qualifications and Requirements:** + B.S. degree required with a focus in Accounting or Finance and CPA / CMA / MBA strongly preferred. + 5-7 years of relevant FP&A or Cost Accounting work experience (journal entries, month-end close, general ledger, financial planning, business analytics) required. + Knowledge of SAP and/or JDE required. + Candidate must be highly proficient working with Microsoft Excel, MS Word, MS PowerBI, Power Query and MS PowerPoint + Capability to travel at short notice to fill in on site as needed + Self-driven, proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, curious, and seeks continuous improvement of self and others + Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix, challenging environment with strong attention to detail _“BD values equity in the workplace without discrimination for any disability, class, ethnicity, age, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation.”_ Required Skills Optional Skills . **Primary Work Location** MEX Cuautitlan Izcalli **Additional Locations** MEX Tijuana - Alaris El Florido, MEX Tijuana - Parque Sur **Work Shift** Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
