Here’s what you’d do:

The Senior Manager, Corporate Tax will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of the income tax provision for BrightView Holdings, Inc. and subsidiaries.   Interaction with accounting and finance teams in meeting all tax provision and tax reporting requirements will be expected.  The Manager, Corporate Tax will also be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all company filed income tax returns for both federal and state purposes.  The Manager, Corporate Tax will report to the VP of Tax.  

You’d be responsible for:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual Income tax provisions and estimates  Prepare/review tax footnote disclosures; work with external auditors to ensure proper financial statement reporting as needed. Analyze deferred tax accounts employing tax basis balance sheet approach.Analyze income tax accounts to ensure reporting accuracy.  Ensure accounting and finance is provided tax related information accurately and timely, as needed. Coordinate SOX compliance controls execution and modification for all income tax accounting processes.Monitor proposed tax legislative/rate changes regarding federal, state, and local tax.Coordinate the improvement and or creation of tax policies and procedures as it relates to income tax accounting.Prepare and review income tax return workpapers for tax return filings, inclusive of both federal and state filingsOversee, develop, and mentor the senior tax analystMaintain all income tax accounting spreadsheets and or income tax accounting software tool.Prepare taxable income forecasting model and effective rate modeling. Responsible for FIN 48 process on a quarterly and annual basis.Responsible for managing miscellaneous income tax accounting projects.Perform special tax projects as assigned.    

 You might be a good fit if you have:

BS in Accounting, MS in Taxation and or CPA preferred.Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in private industry or public accounting.Ability to research, analyzes, and interprets GAAP policies and procedures, federal and state tax laws and regulations.In-depth knowledge of ASC 740.Prior experience with SOX 404 control objectives.Proficient in OneSource OTP and tax compliance module. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.Candidate must have strong analytical, organization, and communication skills.Ability to interact with management and peers.
