The Work You'll Do:

The Senior Manager, Content Marketing – SEO and Digital Experience will report directly to the VP of Product Marketing, and focus on building out compelling middle funnel content to drive more traffic to Sovos.com, Sovos.com landing pages, and associated campaigns. The right candidate will possess a strong command over content generation at an individual contributor level, not just as a curator or editor. In addition to your own contributions, you will manage content supply chain from both internal and external contributors from product marketing and product management. Ideally, you will possess domain and command over the tax, compliance, and financial technology space.

More specifically you will:

Create, manage and execute against a content roadmap that fuels our overall campaign and growth marketing strategy, partnering closely with product marketing and demand teams Craft pillar content pages for our core indirect tax offerings, including sales and use tax (SUT), value added tax (VAT), and einvoicing Create and deploy copy for our landing pages, ads, and email campaigns, and partner with growth and digital teams to test and optimize its effectiveness Partner with marketing ops team to analyze the performance of our content, and make adjustments to our strategy based on visitor engagement and pipeline engagement Through published research, surveys, and pillar content, you will accelerate awareness and demand for the Sovos brand in-market and help accelerate conversion down funnel

What We Ask From You:

10+ years experience in content marketing management role, ideally with a background in tax, compliance, or financial technology Strong writing and storytelling skills, both as an individual contributor as well as in developing a pipeline of content contribution Experience in working with next generation AI content tools a plus Deep experience in working with Google analytics and web teams to understand content performance and make changes Deep experience in working cross-functionally across demand gen, web, and product marketing to develop content strategy Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
