Carrier’s Refrigeration segment is seeking a high-energy Senior Manager, Marketing & Communication, Sensitech & Digital Solutions, to lead a team of professionals to develop and execute integrated strategies to drive the business forward and reach internal and external audiences.
**About this role:**
This role is accountable for the marketing and communication plans and execution, which include product launches, lead generation, digital campaigns, marketing collateral, industry events/trade shows, social media, earned media and employee communications for Sensitech and Lynx. S/he will also help with executive visibility, thought leadership opportunities and communication support for the two leaders of the respective businesses. This position reports to the Refrigeration segment’s Marketing & Communications Director, as well as operationally to the Sensitech Vice President & General Manager and Digital Solutions Vice President & General Manager.
The Senior Manager, Communications & Marketing Manager is comfortable in a high-performing, fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to produce various communication and creative projects. In addition, the individual will be adept at multitasking with an uncompromising commitment to quality. The ideal candidate understands the current and new realities of digital across a globally diverse workforce and demonstrates cutting-edge practices across new channels and platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and implement fully integrated marketing and communication strategies that support Sensitech & Lynx, including product launches, lead generation, digital campaigns, marketing collateral, industry events, earned media and employee communications.
+ Manage the branding of business, products and campaigns and help to conceptualize graphic representations of products and creative campaigns.
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive and fully integrated ongoing Lynx marketing strategy and tactics, working cross-functionally across Refrigeration, to raise awareness visibility and engagement with customers.
+ Set and manage priorities with stakeholders, drive team deadlines and accountability, communicate changes to stakeholders and ensure objectives and expectations are set and met.
+ Embrace The Carrier Way philosophy and build trust by fostering alignment and partnerships.
+ Collaborate across functions and geographies to execute flawlessly under tight deadlines.
+ Serve as a trusted advisor and counsel to senior business leaders and stakeholders by listening and providing credible expertise, relevant insights and transparent feedback.
+ Drive business outcomes by bringing measurement to communication practices and providing perspective that delivers confidence, integration and alignment.
+ Support senior leadership team planning, executive visibility and thought leadership opportunities, talking points, presentation development and employee communications.
+ Manage the relationship and drive tactical execution with external creative agencies.
+ Manage crisis and external communications activities for Sensitech & Lynx.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma
+ 10 + years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Business, Marketing, or Journalism
+ Ability to travel up to 20%.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Advanced degree preferred.
+ Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications skills that reflect an ability to clarify and simplify complex issues and subject matters.
+ Strong project management skills, interpersonal communication skills and a successful track record.
+ Demonstrated writing and editing experience in print and/or online media.
+ Ability to multitask, work with a sense of urgency under demanding deadlines, and balance multiple projects.
+ Given the nature of this position, at times the work product associated with this role will require the incumbent to work long hours and manage highly urgent, short deadline priorities.
+ Attention to detail, high-quality work, ability to make good recommendations and comfort working independently are essential.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
+ Experience developing communications for global and multinational audiences.
+ Ability to drive strategy for lead-generation and related tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce Lightning and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
