Senior Manager, Business Development – Image Guided Therapy

The Senior Manager, Business Development – Image Guided Therapy (IGT) plays a critical role in shaping the future of Philips’ IGT business—providing a unique opportunity to engage in strategic transactions, investments, acquisitions, and partnerships that drive business growth and innovation in image-guided procedures.
Your role:
Identify, assess, and support the execution of business development opportunities aligned with the strategic and financial goals of IGT. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with Philips’ innovation and market leadership objectives.Conduct detailed due diligence, including market analysis, financial feasibility, technological differentiation, clinical impact, and intellectual property assessments in collaboration with our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) department.Facilitate go/no-go recommendations to key stakeholders by synthesizing complex data from financial, market, and clinical sources. Lead the preparation and presentation of investment cases, board-level materials, and negotiation strategies for senior leadership approval.Engage with executives from target companies, venture investors, and third-party advisors to drive deal negotiations and execution. Ensure successful hand over to integration team for acquired businesses or strategic partnerships, working closely with IGT leadership.Stay ahead of emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving clinical pathways in the image-guided therapy space.You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 4+ years of experience in business development, investment banking, corporate strategy, or consulting with a focus on transactional analysis (prior experience in M&A, venture investments, or strategic partnerships) in the MedTech, healthcare technology, or a related industry.Familiarity with the image-guided therapy, interventional procedures, and cath lab innovations a plus.Your skills include:Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex business, market, and clinical data.Experience working with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, product development, and commercial teams) on deal execution.Understanding of healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and clinical workflows in interventional procedures.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a strong focus on execution and results.You have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent degree.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. You have excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Travel required, estimated 10%.How we work together

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $134,400 to $215,040.
The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $117,600 to $201,600.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
