Senior Manager, Architecture

Location: Remote

Compensation: $155,000-$200,000 plus bonus opportunity

The Senior Manager of Architecture leads system architecture and engineering strategy for the Data & Applications org. This hands-on leader ensures technical excellence through scalable design, clear documentation (SRDs/SDDs), and cross-functional collaboration. They manage a team of architects and engineers, shape product-aligned technical solutions, and drive modern architecture practices across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Strategy

Define and evolve architectural standards, reference designs, and integration patterns.Ensure system designs meet security, compliance, and scalability requirements.Lead architectural planning and documentation for major initiatives.

Team Leadership

Hire, develop, and manage a high-performing architecture and engineering team.Oversee Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, Core Engineering, and Quality Engineering.Establish onboarding, mentorship, and development programs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Product, UX, and Data to align business goals with technical solutions.Translate complex architecture into business-aligned language for stakeholders.

Technical Execution

Evaluate and implement emerging tech and scalable cloud-native systems.Drive hands-on technical leadership, spikes, PoCs, and support incident resolution.

Qualifications:

Skills & Experience

2+ years in engineering management; 4+ years in hands-on engineering.3+ years in enterprise digital architecture.Strong background in Agile, cloud platforms (Azure), CI/CD, DevOps, containerization (Docker/K8s), frontend/backend frameworks, APIs, and SQL databases.Experience with Snowflake, Salesforce, and data platform strategy.Excellent communicator, system thinker, and cross-functional influencer.

Education

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (required); Master’s preferred.

Certifications (Preferred)

Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, SnowPro Core, Salesforce Admin/CTA.
