The Raytheon Logistics Continuous Improvement Manager will be accountable for the planning and implementation of continuous improvement taskings and application of CORE. The manager will oversee a team of experienced professionals executing short and long-term strategies for standardization of logistics processes. Focusing on the interpretation of logistics data to provide solutions to reduce service level commitments, improve process flows, and gain efficiencies within logistics processes. Manager must provide input to hiring, promotions, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports. Oversee the development of employees to achieve talent and career growth. Manager will lead, direct, and review the work of the team with a level of autonomy in their assignments. Candidate will also require input to and support RTX strategic initiatives. Candidate may work with RTX Corporate Logistics team members on standardization of service provider metrics and overall data requirements to support the Raytheon business. Candidate must be a team player, willing to work in a cross-team environment and across multiple disciplines to be successful in this position. This position is being offered in the following locations: + Tucson, AZ + McKinney, TX + El Segundo, CA + Andover, MA + Tewksbury, MA **What You Will Do** + Collaborate with RTX and Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain leadership to shape, develop and execute logistics strategies and objectives to achieve cost, quality and schedule goals. + Leads CORE/Continuous Improvement culture ad competency improvement across the logistics organization. + Partner with Supply Chain and Logistics Execution teams in the identifying, sharing, and implanting of best practices. + Identifies technical solutions and partners with appropriate Raytheon technology owners to provide automated dashboards and platforms for consuming data. + Accountable for the establishment of logistics metrics and working with operational stakeholders to develop process discipline. + Participate in Transportation Service Provider and 3PL warehousing quarterly business reviews to provide input on partner key performance indicators. + Identify and mitigate supply chain risk, particularly in global logistics operations. + Drive innovation in logistics processes and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce cost. **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience. + Experience with Logistics or Supply Chain. + Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Process Improvements. + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. **Qualifications We Prefer** + Experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry. + Experience in stakeholder management, including senior executives, suppliers and customers. + Project Management experience. + Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CLTD, or PMP. + Demonstrated development of employees for career growth and leadership opportunities within an organization. + Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead a team of experienced logistics professionals to influence positive outcomes. + Execute problem solving for difficult to moderately complex issues and establish solutions to enhance the overall performance of the job function. + Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the internal organization, and with external stakeholders and/or partners. + High level of proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). + Experience in Lean principles and/or implementation of Lean strategies. + Demonstrated strategic thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. + Experience working in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. **What We Offer** Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
