In April 2024, Vodafone announced the creation of a new division called Vodafone Investments which is responsible for managing Vodafone’s interests in its non-wholly owned assets with a mandate to drive value creation and prevent value leakage. The Lead Counsel is responsible for supporting the Group GC and Vodafone Investments Director across all the assets included in Vodafone Investments.
Provide expert legal advice and strategic business partnering to the Vodafone Investments Director and the Legal & Business Integrity Leadership Team members.
Lead team responsible for advising on Vodafone Investments and structuring and negotiating related strategic programmes.
Develop strong business partner relationships with key leaders across Vodafone Investments, Legal & Business Integrity, Group External Affairs, Vodafone Local Markets, Commercial Shared Operations and Vodafone Business to enable value delivery in an effective, efficient and compliant way.
Lead transformation initiatives in order to improve operational excellence, enable growth and support Vodafone in earning customer loyalty.
Play a proactive role in the Legal & Business Integrity Team, taking on responsibility for sponsoring change programmes and projects to drive improvements, Spirit behaviours and engagement year on year.
Who you are Legally qualified with significant experience gained either in-house or at a leading law firmStrong drafting and negotiating experience, with ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast-moving industryProfessional level fluency in written and spoken EnglishA strategic thinker with a proven ability to influence business strategy and protect reputation.Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
