Senior Counsel opportunity - Events & Music I'm working with a live events group who are recruiting a new senior counsel providing advice to the UK and European business. Reporting to the General Counsel this role will support the business on a range of legal matters and take the lead on data protection. You will: · Review, draft and negotiate various contracts, in particular SaaS and IT agreements, supply chain contracts, sponsorship agreements and other customer contracts; · Lead on Data Protection matters including chairing European DP meetings, reviewing and updating policies and procedures, and responding to data protection questions and concerns; · Assisting with commercial disputes; · Providing advice on the impact of new legislation/ regulations; and · Working closely with other members of the legal team to provide support on new business and other significant projects. This role would be best suited to a lawyer with at least 4 years PQE in commercial contracts gained either in house or for a large firm. The team is friendly and supportive and they operate a flexible hybrid working policy. A rare opportunity to work in this sector in the North West.
