Overview Senior Learning Solutions Consultant Working as part of our very successful South Africa Sales team, and reporting into our Head of Sales, we have an opportunity for a motivated, driven, and learning-focused Senior Learning Solutions Consultant. We are seeking an individual who will spearhead new business growth across the Higher Education sector, whilst strategically expanding our presence in emerging markets. Equally important, you will ensure the retention and success of existing accounts through cultivation of relationships and providing tailored solutions. What is this about? Based remotely (working from home), you will provide innovative strategies, exceptional customer experiences, and effective solutions that foster both, immediate sales growth, and long-term client loyalty. Then, as our new Senior Learning Solutions Consultant, you will suggest the most appropriate McGraw Hill solution for their course/module/unit of study. This is a 360 sales position, so you be responsible for closing your own business and maintaining a strong and prosperous pipeline. What you will be doing: Achieving existing and new business sales targets. Building and managing sales pipelines. Introducing, implementing, and supporting digital solutions and innovative teaching approaches to a variety of different stakeholders – department heads, e-learning leaders, academics, etc. Developing a deep understanding of departmental resource budgets, procurement processes, and decision making timelines to effectively position our solutions. Effective and timely use of Salesforce.com, (SFDC). Travelling across the Gauteng province, other parts of the country, and at times, internationally, to meet with existing and potentially new customers. What can you bring to the role? Proven and demonstratable success in a solution-selling and/or consultative sales role. A passion and hunger for success. A desire to help University learners and an interest in education technology. An understanding of the Higher Education sector would be ideal. Candidates with previous experience selling digital, software, or online products would be given preference.
