We're hiring high performers as proven as our products. Join us. ATI is currently looking for a Senior Leader, Operations at our Cudahy, WI location. This position is responsible for managing our Building 66 operations. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. **_Essential Functions:_** + Lead and direct the workforce. + Develop and maintain an effective organization through selection, staffing, development, and engagement of employees. + Assist Production Control, Forge Shop, Steel Stores and Processing in the scheduling of work. + Direct and coordinate Building 66 schedule and application of equipment and manpower to support customer delivery schedules. + Identify process improvements and capital expenditures which will reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance competitiveness. + Responsible for correct techniques, methods, sequence, and safety of operations, to insure a quality product at a competitive cost. + Determine manpower requirements of jobs, assigns early starters, sequences jobs, and reports crews, manpower changes, downtime and piece counts to Timekeeping to assure prompt start of units, and provide required production data for payroll and operating system accuracy. + Provide information and assist Notice of deviation corrective action investigation. Implement corrective action as necessary. Support Forge Shop Engineering in tooling, methods, and procedure/process revision tryouts to improve quality, reduce costs, and develop production methods for new jobs. + Assure compliance to Cudahy Operations quality requirements through application of ISO 9002/AS9100A, systemic procedures and work instructions. + Ensure harmonious relations between labor and management through consistent application of the labor agreement(s) and company policies. Administer approved disciplinary procedures as directed. **Basic Qualifications:** + 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment + 5+ years’ experience leading a team + High School Diploma or Equivalent + 1+ years’ experience working in a union environment **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1+ years’ of CNC machining experience + 1+ years’ experience leading in a union environment + 1+ years’ experience working in a forging or heavy metals industry + Bachelor’s Degree **Skills:** + Microsoft Office + Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task **We** **thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
