Summary: The Senior Lead SAP BASIS (Business Application Software Integrated Solution) Administrator partners with internal and external functional, technical and security resources to maintain the life-cycle management, security, and performance of Acushnet SAP S/4 HANA systems within a cloud environment. Responsible for running the SAP landscape (managing routine maintenance, operation, and upgrades), and plays a critical role in planning and executing migrations and other major projects.

Responsibilities: 

Coordinates all aspects of the SAP S/4 systems, including system installation, upgrades and application of patches (OSS notes, support packages, add-ons).  Supports the technical implementation of the SAP system landscape as it evolves (i.e., development, test, staging and production).  Coordinates and/or Performs system refreshes; participates in the scheduling of refreshes as requested.  Monitors and tunes capacity planning, performance and workflow. Responsible for the accountability of hosting partner and other partners and developers, aiming for timeliness in execution, excellence in quality, and reasonable costs. Liaises with the business to execute project creation, business blueprints, realization, final preparation, and go-live support. Applies standard SAP principles, concepts and techniques in system installation, monitoring performance, problem diagnosis and resolution.  Demonstrates excellent tactical approaches that also reflect the strategic perspective of the organization.  Keeps abreast of functional features /options/opportunities and works with business to execute related projects.  Educates the business on new features/functionality and works with learning center personnel to develop new training materials. Administers Three-Tier security policies & procedures; execute security approved requests; ensure compliance. Provide documents of evidence to internal and external auditors for audits which have the SAP landscape and JSOX in scope. Manage KPIs to measure third-party hosting teams performance to SLA and conduct regular account reviews.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in computer science, business or related field (MIS, IT) required.  SAP Certifications in S/4HANA, OS/DB Migration, NetWeaver and SAP HANA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration and Security (GRC) and 3 to 4 years S/4HANA.  Full life cycle implementation experience and support of SAP S/4HANA. Experienced in SAP Migration Projects.  Experience administering S/4HANA RISE a plus. Willingness to travel as needed.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.  Experience working with internal and external auditors; gathering and producing required documentation and verbally articulating measures for auditing points.  Ability to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner to others who may have minimal technical knowledge.  Passion for documentation including diagrams, standards, and project papers.  Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of data into charts, diagrams, and reports.  Critical/logical thinking to locate problems and assess from a variety of perspectives to solve.  Communication, working with people across all business channels, must be able to manage people well and communicate new ideas effectively.
