Senior Knowledge Management (KM) Coordinator
**Description** As a member of the Knowledge Management Department, the Senior Knowledge Management (KM) Coordinator has a pivotal role in the coordination of administrative functions, enrichment of knowledge resources, and assistance with KM Innovation initiatives. The Senior KM Coordinator is resourceful and tech-savvy with experience in legal or business administration to contribute to our organization by supporting a broad range of educational and knowledge-enhancing activities. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** + Oversee the maintenance and updates of department materials, including but not limited to, standard documents, presentations, Innovation Insights newsletter and procedural manuals. + Assist with the creation, distribution, and update of training and orientation materials across legal practice groups and for new employee integration. + Facilitate logistical coordination for training sessions and office meetings, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made promptly and efficiently. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date content on the firm's internal network, FoxNet, including KM-related forms and documents. + Prepare and organize materials for various meetings, including coordinating schedules, compiling agendas, and disseminating information across departments. + Engage in the management of key processes such as the KM merger checklist and the updating of KM Attorney Orientation and Departure Portals. + Collect and analyze data to generate reports tracking department achievements, focus areas, and return on investment for innovation efforts. + Deliver comprehensive research support by utilizing an assortment of online and offline resources effectively. + General support for various KM tools and company resources, ensuring accessibility and efficiency. **ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:** + Coordinate the creative aspects and procurement of branded promotional material for the KM department. + Organize travel arrangements for KM management team for office visits, retreats, conferences, etc. on an as needed basis. + Act as a liaison for collaborative projects and initiatives across multiple administrative groups. + Represent the KM department as an ambassador during regular interactions, fostering positive relations with attorneys, staff, and other stakeholders. **QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):** **Education:** + High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, or related fields preferred. **Experience:** + Minimum of two years of relevant experience, ideally in a legal or professional service environment. **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:** + Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to adopt and adapt to new technologies. + Self-motivated with a strong capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines, displaying flexibility and organizational ability. + Demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service skills, with the capability to support and enhance knowledge-driven projects. **WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time.
