You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, a truly state-of-the-art gym - fully loaded with Peloton bikes & every piece of gym equipment you can imagine. An indoor astroturf pitch, chat boxes & creative corners creative spaces. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & many more.
What you’ll do.
High performing adidas Senior Key Account Managers are responsible for the execution of strategies and business efforts that deliver the strategy. They use their experience and knowledge to both manage a team (directly or indirectly) and functionally contribute to deliver against shared business goals. They continue to evolve their leadership capability by tackling new and challenging opportunities. They create clarity, confidence and recommendations needed to enable tough decisions to be made and are responsible for creating a culture of high performance and belonging in adidas. SKAM’s work collaboratively within their internal and external functions and strive for the best results in whatever they do.
The skills you’ll need for the Senior Key Account Manager role:
Brand Ambassadorship & Account Management
Brand Representation: As the brand ambassador, you’ll embody our brand values when interacting with stakeholders. Whether it’s customers, partners, or internal functions, your actions reflect our identity.
Account Management:
Understanding Accounts: Dive into the specifics of assigned accounts. Know their nuances, preferences, and pain points.
Strategic Planning: Develop robust account strategies. Document these in Account Strategic account plans.
Sell-Out & Order Book: Continuously monitor sell-out data and manage orders efficiently.
Trade Terms Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate & implement trade terms to benefit both parties.
Entrepreneurial mindset drives opportunities that cam increase both net sales and market share away from the competition.
Leadership & Reporting:
Skill Development: Mentor and coach, your direct reports. Enhance their functional and core skills.
Effective Reporting: Regularly report progress using established guidelines.
Provide accurate plans and forecasts for customer performance.
Internal Advocacy: Act as an internal ambassador, advocating for your accounts’ needs.
