Enterprise Search Application

Responsibility


- Translate business needs to technical solution
- Design online search applications with web architect
- Develop, debug and unit test the application based on functional requirements and scope of work.
- Integrate the search application with backend DB
- Contribute and conform to Thermo Fisher adopted software development standards.
- Focus on SDLC, quality and continuous improvement to technology and process.
- Participate in production deployment and provide assistance to production support group as needed.
- Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions

Job Description


As mentioned above. Has to work within Enterprise Application Services group to develop and desing, implement an online search application and integrate with the backend database. The governance from web architecture team has to be followed.

Key Technical Skill


- Java, J2EE, Java+J2EE Design Patterns, Standards and best practices, Web design and development
- CSS, Javascript, HTML,
- Oracle, PL/SQL, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Bootstrap and Angular JS
- AWS
- Search engine (like Endeca or SOLR)
