Kforce has a client in Cleveland, OH that is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a hybrid, on-site contract-to-hire role. Day to Day Functions: * Responsible for developing and designing applications in Java and Oracle, handling critical incidents/noncritical incidents, running automated test scripts * Senior Java Developer will be processing data through Java to the front end so the data request can be shown to the customer * Design, development, and maintenance of software applications * Creates user information solutions by developing and maintaining internet/intranet applications * Defines objectives by analyzing user requirements * Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations in development life cycle; Completing programming using languages and software products; Designing and conducting tests * Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting, studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers * Completes applications development by contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems * As a Senior Java Developer, you will support users by developing documentation and assistance tools * Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; Participating in educational opportunities; Reading professional publications; Maintaining personal networks; Participating in professional organizations * Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for fulfilling new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
