Job Summary

Our Corporate Information Technology (CIT) Group is currently seeking an IT Security Analyst IV on our Security Compliance Team.  This position is located in Columbus, Ohio. 

Responsibilities Perform periodic review of existing Battelle cyber security policy - compare with comparable existing industry and government policies; compare with Battelle’s security roadmap and goals; perform gap analysis and develop policies to close those gaps.Work closely with project managers, security team, and all of Information Technology organization to ensure compliance, facilitate remediation, and facilitate continuous improvement.Oversee certification and accreditation process of project information systemsPerform risk assessments on information system security controlsMaintain close familiarity of industry practices and current trendsAct as a liaison and subject matter expert on IT managed projectsDevelop and facilitate cyber security awareness trainingOther security related duties as assigned
 Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; eight years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in Information technology, IT Security or Security Governance/Compliance. Must be a US person
 Preferred Qualifications Experience participating in or conducting audits of IT controlsExpertise in written technical communications.Direct experience in at least 3 of the following areas Compliance with FISMA and NIST standards strongly preferredFedRAMP or CMMCNIST 800-53 Revision 5DFARS 252.204-7012NIST 800-171 CUIISO 27001SOC 2PCI Vendor managementRisk ManagementInformation privacy
