Join our dynamic Enterprise Technology and Services (ETS) PMO team as a Senior IT Project Manager (Network Infrastructure)!
Collaborating with the Program Director of Network Data Center and End User Services, you’ll lead technical network initiatives that drive our multi-year strategic goals.
We’re looking for someone with a solid background in managing network projects, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for delivering results in a complex, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of technical projects, coordinating with multiple partners, vendors, technology teams, application owners, and business partners.
Manage projects through all phases, from business case creation to implementation, adhering to Manulife’s global governance framework and standards.
Collaborate with project teams and key collaborators to define and manage project scope, strategy, requirements, and implementation.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting delivery objectives.
Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control project risks and issues, bringing up to management as needed.
Maintain effective and regular communication with project teams, partners, sponsors, and management.
Identify resource needs and establish roles, expectations, and goals with team members.
Communicate clearly with all collaborators involved.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years+ of industry experience in Program/Project Management with high value budgets.
Demonstrable experience leading network infrastructure and security initiatives, including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and various technologies such as cloud, internet, and voice.
Solid ability to understand and address risks and issues to ensure transparency and achieve business objectives.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop actionable plans.
Highly self-directed, with the ability to navigate disparate processes, systems, and solutions to support successful change.
Ability to influence without direct authority, with effective negotiation and collaboration skills; shown success in building and managing relationships.
Good ability to convey complex ideas clearly and manage the complexities of significant change, influencing individuals across business boundaries to achieve objectives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide updates to all levels, including senior management.
Exceptional customer focus and commitment to quality while meeting objectives.
Strong financial competence, with the ability to understand key measures and their relation to business drivers.
University Degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
PMP (Project Management Professional) and CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certifications preferred.
Flexibility to collaborate within a distributed team to handle queries and support processes on-call outside of regular working hours as required.

HybridSalary range is expected to be between
