Senior IT Project Manager

Overview The Project Manager – New Client Implementation will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination and execution of all IT implementations associated with the onboarding of new clients. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver successful client outcomes. How you'll make an impact Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensure that they are delivered on time, within approved budget, adhere to high-quality standards and meet customer expectations. Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Work closely with project sponsor, business leaders, cross functional teams, to develop the scope, deliverables, resourcing, work plan, budgets, and delivery of new initiatives. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, assign tasks, and monitor their progress. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are delivered within the allocated budget. Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, best practices, and organizational policies and apply them effectively to improve project delivery. Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement changes for future projects. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary IT point of contact for the business for new client implementations, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations. Conduct regular project status meetings, report on project progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders and senior management. Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to continuously improve the implementation process. Innovation Partner: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and be a consulting partner for the business. About You Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with both technical and business credentials a plus. Experience: Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in client-facing roles within the insurance industry with demonstrated ability to organize & manage interdependencies of multiple projects. Skills: Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and disciplines including the ability to develop detailed work plans. Exceptional skills in communication (both oral and written), leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
