What Will You Do?

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our network systems while providing technical support and implementing network solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation: Plan, design, and deploy network solutions that meet the organization’s needs. Network Maintenance: Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime. Security : to protect the network from threats. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of network solutions. Capacity Planning: Analyze network performance and plan for future growth and scalability.

Core Requirements:

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls Help monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues Participate in network upgrades and expansion projects Assist with documentation of network configurations and changes Provide technical support for network-related issues Collaborating with team members on various IT projects

Technical Expertise Required:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on large-scale environments. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.  Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) Familiarity with network hardware and software Basic knowledge of network security principles Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Preferred Skills:

General network troubleshooting skills  General network familiarity with Cisco switches and routers
