Job Responsibilities :The Senior IT Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT systems and processes. This role involves conducting thorough assessments, audits, and evaluations to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT assurance, risk management, or a similar role.Industry certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or CISM are highly desirable.In-depth knowledge of IT regulations, standards, and frameworks (e.g., MAS TRM, RMiT, ISO 27001, GDPR, BOT).Familiarity with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS etc)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Skilled in creating and maintaining documentation and reports.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and presentation skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.Good working attitude and a strong team player.Positive attitude and an eagerness to learn with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure IT practices adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and policies (e.g., MAS TRM, RMiT, ISO 27001, GDPR, BOT).Conduct internal IT audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.Monitor and review IT systems to ensure ongoing risk management and compliance.Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.Oversee the development and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.Monitor annual security assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure IT compliance and risk management.Provide guidance and support to IT staff on best practices for security and compliance.Communicate complex IT risk and compliance requirements to various stakeholders effectively.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT risk management and compliance activities.Prepare and present regular reports on IT assurance activities to senior management.Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessiblePre-Requisites :Are you game?
