This exciting role entails supporting a wide spectrum of initiatives aimed at ensuring top-tier program management focused on Organizing, Training, and Equipping for world-wide ISR operations within the esteemed 55 Operations Group.
As a Senior ISR Support Specialist, you’ll step into the role of a trusted advisor to squadron and group leadership, crafting and refining processes to assess readiness and briefing senior leaders on readiness metrics. Your expertise will shape the policies and procedures that drive the health, performance, and overall success of ISR Operations systems, sensors, collection platforms, and the intricacies of processing, exploitation, and dissemination activities.
This role demands an exceptional understanding of force development for Airmen from diverse specialties. You’ll bring forward your unmatched knowledge to consolidate the group's ISR mission essential training tasks, identify supporting organizations/activities, document lessons learned, and proactively mitigate challenges that impact operational effectiveness.
Be prepared to lead transformative projects and studies that directly shape both near-term objectives and far-reaching strategies. Your innovative recommendations will address a broad array of ISR operations issues, ensuring Group-level planning is seamlessly aligned with Air Force, CCMD, and national priorities. Additionally, you'll take a hands-on approach to deliver dynamic training across a variety of subjects—ranging from data input/extraction processes to crafting insightful assessments and preparing impactful briefings for leadership.
Required Skills:
• Current TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• At least 8 years of ISR experience, including curriculum development, program management, and database management expertise.
• Familiarity with PEX, SharePoint, data analysis, data visualization, and an advanced grasp of Excel.
• Prior staff experience, with roles such as SDO, DO, or head of Scheduling, Training, Stan/Eval, UDM, or XP.
Desired Skills:
• Previous experience as an instructor or evaluator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI.
