Senior Inventory Analyst

What you’ll be doing:

Manage item set up and pack list creation for FBA shipments.Manage and optimize inventory levels across eMarketplace platforms, particularly Amazon and FBA by reacting to changes in sales trends and to ensure product availability and minimize carrying costs.Maintain inventory $ on hand levels and turn, and achieve budgeted goalsMaintain Amazon required in stock (FBA) and fill rate (93.5%) metricsPlace, track, expedite, and maintain purchase orders. Communicate and escalate critical vendor supply chain issues to minimize impacts to customer service Understand and action key daily reports such as inactive inventory, daily out of stocks, and forecast exceptionsManage 3PL performance related to the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory for eMarketplace platforms.Facilitating & communicating inventory discrepancies (overage, shortage, damages) of 3PL in co-ordination with the inventory audit, vendors, & other cross functional teamsCollaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Flexible, detail-oriented, and has strong follow-through.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially for eMarketplace operations.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive and results-oriented mindset.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment.Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and 3rd party logistics partners. Solid grasp and clear understanding of advanced financial and inventory measuresProven experience in inventory management and operations, with a focus on eMarketplace platforms such as Amazon and FBA.Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience in inventory management

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management systems (i.e. E3, JDA)Experience in scaling inventory in Marketplaces specifically Fulfilled by AmazonExperience in eMarketplace platforms, particularly Amazon and FBA (e.g., Seller Central).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.Experience managing cross-functional projects in eMarketplace operations.
