Senior International Tax Analyst
Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid role, on-site 2 days in H.B. Fuller Corporate Headquarters)
The Senior Tax Analyst supports corporate tax in our global U.S. multinational company and takes a senior role in managing complex tax matters, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic tax initiatives. This role involves in-depth analysis of tax implications, overseeing tax reporting, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Tax Analyst plays a critical role in shaping the company's tax strategy and optimizing its global tax position.
The Senior Tax Analyst reports to the Senior Tax Manager and assists with tax compliance, provision, and other tax department projects as assigned. The focus of the position will be international tax compliance with the opportunity to be exposed to both federal and state compliance and tax accounting.
Primary Responsibilities:
U.S. INTERNATIONAL COMPLIANCE (50%)
Collect information from foreign affiliates and prepare the annual U.S. tax information return for each non-U.S. subsidiary (Form 5471 and Form 8858).Prepare U.S. International tax calculations such as GILTI and BEAT.U.S. FEDERAL AND STATE COMPLIANCE (20%)
Assist with supporting calculations for U.S. federal income tax return.Prepare U.S. state income tax returns and supporting calculations.Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions.TAX PROVISION (20%)
Assist with federal tax provision calculations including book to tax differences.Assist with state tax provision calculations.Prepare certain U.S. account reconciliations.Analyze and substantiate deferred tax assets and liabilities.Prepare work papers supporting the Annual Report for external auditor.TAX DEPARTMENT PROCESSES AND TAX PLANNING (10%)
Assist with improvements regarding tax compliance and information gathering processes.Assist with tax planning and other tax department projects as assigned.Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience in tax function
• Some experience in public accounting preferred
• Experience processing forms 5471/8858
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $75,000 - 100,000.In addition to your salary, H.B.
