Position Summary:
The Senior International Payroll Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing for 21 countries and related customer service support to employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments. This role includes collaborating with department managers, timekeepers, and Human Resources staff to verify attendance, compute wages and deductions, and resolve payroll discrepancies. The Payroll Specialist will assist in compiling employee time and payroll data, entering it into the payroll system, distributing paychecks, and preparing year-end tax forms, while also maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and performing other assigned duties as needed.
Essential Functions:
Assists in checking the accuracy and processing of international payroll on monthly basis, addressing all payroll-related issues.
Administer payroll for employees across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local tax laws and employment regulations.
Process monthly payroll for international teams, including salary calculations, bonuses, commissions, overtime, and deductions.
Collaborate with HR, Finance and other departments to ensure accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and employee status changes.
Ensure compliance with international tax regulations, social security, and pension contributions, and other statutory deductions in each country of operation.
Manage year-end tax reporting and filings, including local tax returns, forms and ensure compliance with local laws.
Coordinate with external payroll providers and local payroll partners to resolve and discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll execution.
Prepare and maintain payroll reports, including payroll summaries, tax reports, and other reports requested by management or external auditors.
Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related issues, resolving discrepancies promptly.
Assists with processing the US bi-weekly and monthly payroll as needed.
Assists in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to adhere to policies and regulations.
Maintains confidentiality of employee information and payroll records in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years in payroll processing, with international payroll experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred; 7 years of experience in lieu of a college degree
High attention to detail with the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
Proficient in business systems and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and customer focus
Team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience with Workday, ADP, and Human Resources is highly desirable
Workday Certification preferred
Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
