**Responsibilities & Qualifications**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
TheSeniorInstructorwill work with instructional designers and other instructors tolead the instructor cadre anddeliver and updateNCTC mission IT Services Trainingcoursework and documentation. This trainingsupportseffective use and O&M of the NCTC mission IT services and applications, ensuresenterprise compliance with customer current and oversight requirements, and supportsO&Mteamduring the customer’s operational demonstration periods.Responsibilities include:
+ Helping to executea comprehensive approach and methods for training to support effective use and O&M of mission IT services and applications.
+ Designingand deliveringprograms to train all levels of personnel
+ Formulatingteaching outline anddetermininginstructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences,meetingsand workshops
+ Developingtests and visual aids, conductingtraining classes, and developingcriteria for evaluating effectiveness of trainingactivitie
+ Providing refresher training to theworkforce on the data-handlingrequirements andimplementing required training.
+ Preparing training plans, training curricula, materials, and schedules
+ Performing training
+ Evaluating training success
+ Defining, documenting,maintaining, and delivering SOPs and knowledge base modules that provide users with instructions that support and encourage "self-help" and "self• training
+ Providing O&M support during the Sponsor's operational demonstrationperiods including:
+ Providingtraining tomission endusers while alsoconducting "Train-the-Trainer" training.
+ Collaboratingacross the programtoidentifyprogramneeds andobtain technical data and schedules programs. Keepingabreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
+ Conferringwith management,employeesandthe customerto gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
+ Mentoring other instructorson the team
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Currentlypossessan activeTopSecret security clearance
+ Years of experience with degree:BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ** **
+ A bachelor’s degree inarelevant field
+ Industry experiencein the subjectsbeing taught
+ Teaching experience, preferably in a similar setting
+ Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Instructor Training programs
