Kforce has a client that is seeking a Hybrid Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities: * Senior Infrastructure Engineer will assess existing on-premises infrastructure to determine suitability for cloud migration * Develop comprehensive migration plans including timelines and risk assessments * Execute cloud migrations ensuring minimal disruption to business operations * Establish hybrid connectivity between on-site systems and cloud environments * Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and performance * Implement security best practices, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance * Monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support * Participate in post-migration reviews and continuous improvement initiatives * Implement Azure-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives * Work closely with development, operations, security as well as non-IT stakeholders to integrate Azure services into broader business operations * As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will oversee the resilience, security, and performance of Azure environments * Manage backup, patching, and disaster recovery functions * Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools * Participate in architecture reviews and recommend operational improvements * Stay abreast of Azure updates, trends, and emerging technologies * Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning
