Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer within the File Storage Engineering team.  This team provides File Storage solutions to meet our business partner’s needs and growing demand of this platform.

As part of this team, you will work closely with architecture to assess new solutions, certify releases and make recommendations on go-forward strategies in the file storage space.  You will also work closely with operational support, providing guidance and Level 2 support as needed.

This position works with a variety of technologies so experience in one or more of these areas is preferred:

Storage:  NetApp, Oracle, VastOperating Systems:  Windows, VMWare, LinuxDatabases:  SQL, Oracle, MongoNetwork:  Arista, Cisco, FirewallsLanguages:  Python, PowerShell

In this role you will:

Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and businessDevelop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutionsContribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirementsDrive solutions to reduce recovery timeReview and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotationDesign, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practicesDesign complex system upgradesResolve troublesome trends as they developDevelop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurringDirect the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure successCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of experience with file storage specifically with NetApp FAS4+ years of experience within an Object, SAN and/or backup environment
