This position reports to

Global Domain Service Delivery Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical and business process/data advice to support ongoing operations and new software development. Each day, you will utilize your knowledge on systems, procedures, and emerging technologies. You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing the development, and validating the functionality, of the final product.The work model for the role is:#LI-Onsite•Lead in IT, Service Delivery, Strategy alignment to drive tactical solutions and stakeholder management. •Responsible for participating in gathering requirements, including leading, designing, and providing guidance on recommendations. •Collaborate with the business on current processes and propose solutions to enhance current processes, including advising on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits and impacts.•Ensure all systems are aligned with the IT long term strategy.•Identify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs.•Create and update associated documentation, set testing strategy for modules and lead end to end integration testing,•Participate in the delivery of project and minor/major releases, troubleshoot, and lead the evaluation and design of the correction for complex incidents; and maintain a high level of functional competency regarding the standard configuration of the Extended Warehouse Management, by staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements and leveraging best practices.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field with minimum 10-12 years of experience as an IS Function Analyst with a focus on warehouse management solutions connected to an SAP ERP environment or equivalent experience.Experience with other relevant technologies such as ERP systems, databases, and middleware.Knowledge of industry best practices in supply chain and logisticsIn-depth knowledge of supply chain management, planning, and logistics processesProject management experience and certification (example- PMP) is a plusCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
