SUMMARY: In this role, you will be part of an infrastructure Design Team in an enterprise IT organization, providing solutions to achieve business requirements. This position requires the candidate to provide full stack services support to the product development teams consisting of cloud, design, network, operating system, operational integrations, and virtualization platforms. Participates in ongoing integrated project activities including feasibility studies, scope, timeline, task list, and workflow of projects. Designs, implements, and performs designated tasks from the product sprints requiring extended services that include design, working solutions on infrastructure solutioning, provisioning, and orchestration. Participate in the technical engagement and ultimate success around integrated implementation projects and having deep expertise in the Cloud and On-prem technologies. Proven ability delivering technology services and infrastructure projects. The candidate must have previous cloud and on-prem experience, a demonstrated track record of production infrastructure implementations possesses both cloud and application integration skills. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive innovation by designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based platforms and services while ensuring seamless integration with legacy infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize existing systems and translate business requirements into forward-thinking technical solutions. Develop, enhance, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible AWX, and AWS CloudFormation to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of both cloud-native and legacy infrastructure, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and operational efficiency. Lead the transition from traditional on-premises data centers to cloud environments while balancing the need to maintain and optimize legacy systems that are critical to business operations. Drive continuous innovation by evaluating and implementing emerging technologies that enhance system reliability, scalability, and security while optimizing cost and performance. Create and support hybrid cloud strategies, enabling smooth migration paths for legacy applications while ensuring modern cloud-native workloads can be deployed efficiently. Maintain a deep understanding of AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure infrastructure, leveraging automation and configuration management tools to enhance operational capabilities across legacy and modern platforms. Oversee the administration of multi-cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and security best practices. Define and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for managing both modern and legacy infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting complex system issues, whether in cloud-based, hybrid, or traditional environments, identifying interdependencies between services and mitigating risks effectively. Work closely with stakeholders to assess legacy system constraints, identify opportunities for modernization, and develop migration strategies that minimize downtime and data loss while enhancing business agility. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of UNIX/Linux and VMware environments, overseeing installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and maintenance of compute, storage, and backup infrastructure across multiple data centers. Drive automation-first approaches to infrastructure management, reducing manual processes and increasing system resilience. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the organization remains competitive in adopting next-generation infrastructure solutions. Qualifications Minimum 8+ years of technical project delivery. 4+ years of experience working within a public cloud environment, preferably Linux, AWS and Azure. Previous experience working with Agile Development Practices. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be a team player with a strong, self-managing work ethic. Configuring and supporting the implementation & maintenance of security tools. Implementing system endpoint security policies. Scripting and Automation: Intermediate scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate routine tasks and streamline system administration. Strong preference for Python. Knowledge of emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center, hardware, software) and best practices. Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Experience with monitoring tools to track system performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues at the application and operating system level within either Windows or Linux environments. Understanding of operating system fundamentals including user and kernel space, memory management, shared libraries, file and network IO, Windows registry, software distribution, etc. Experience with the project lifecycle of network integrations, infrastructure build, data center builds, and/or network hardware refresh.
