As a Senior Incident Management Analyst, you will direct all aspects of ACLD's Incident Management System.
Specifically, as a Senior Incident Management Analyst you will:
Ensure compliance with all requirements of the Implementation of the Protection of People with Special Needs Act and Reforms to Incident ManagementConduct investigations into Notable Occurrences, Serious Occurrences, events or situations that are not under the auspices of the agency and other incidents as assignedPrepare and distribute all final reports in accordance with regulatory requirements and agency policyEnsure entry of all reports into OPWDD's Incident Reporting Management Application Serve as ACLD's liaison with OPWDD and the Justice CenterMaintain database for and review all internal incidents and SCIP interventionsComplete trend analysis reports on Notable Occurrences, Serious Notable Occurrences, Minor Notable Occurrences and events or situations that are not under the auspices of the agencyEnsure compliance with NYS Access to Records Law Provide training and support to all OPWDD funded programs on Incident Management systems and processesEducate the Incident Review Committee (IRC) on all changes and additions to laws and regulationsTrain members of the Incident Review Committee in Standards of Excellence for Standing Committees that review incidentsAttend Quality Assurance Task force meetings as well as other trainings
We require:
Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Services.Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the field of developmental disabilities or equivalent knowledge and experience Knowledge of Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations.Carry a 24-hour cell phone for incident reporting purposes
