We are currently seeking a Senior Hydraulic Modeler to join our Infrastructure - Water/Wastewater Team located in Tampa, FL or Orlando, FL.

YOUR IMPACT

Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.

 

A Senior Hydraulic Modeler has an extensive engineering knowledge and may assume a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the respective field of engineering and in particular, hydraulic modeling and master planning. This individual is responsible for providing guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous projects. A Senior Hydraulic Modeler manages all phases of a technical project from conception to completion, while providing engineering guidance to other departments and training new engineering staff.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; Master's degree preferredFlorida Professional Engineer (PE) license requiredA minimum of 15 years progressive engineering experience in master planning and hydraulic modeling requiredExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practicesProficiency with MS Office software requiredUnderstands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as laws related to engineeringAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Innovyze InfoWater, Bentley WaterCAD, Bentley SewerCAD, PCSWMMM, GIS, etc.)Completely familiar with and advocates for the company’s standards for quality control and complianceAbility to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areasAn active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferredProven ability to lead a team CULTURE/EEO STATEMENT
