GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Director HRBP leads and executes the key initiatives that support the strategy of EssilorLuxottica US Rx Operations. This role implements HR strategy to meet business objectives across all facilities and functions and operates as a key business partner to leaders to optimize people strategies and plans. Ensures HR Business partnering across the entire network ensuring the setting of clear HR expectations, responsibilities, and a sense of mutual accountability for key business results.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with HR teams, program, policy, and process owners to deliver effective HR initiatives that align with best practices to ensure consistency and teamwork within the HR department. Uses data analytics, trends, HR and business KPIs to implement HR strategies to progress the business in a systematic and process focused manner. Coaches & develops a high performing, high impact HR team who drives culture alignment & change across a fast-paced business, partners effectively with business leaders, and ensures mutual accountability for business results. Partners with NA Operations/corporate/global HR to drive the development and implementation of solutions that enable performance and ensure operational excellence. Coaches and develops leaders to attract, retain and motivate talent. Works closely with leaders on identifying key talent internally/externally to fill vacant and upcoming senior level roles. Understands external factors that influence HR strategy as they relate to competitiveness, attractiveness, and retention. Provides thought leadership for strategic planning where there is HR impact in to ensure successful implementation and tracking of HR processes. Maintains strong knowledge of current and future business challenges at the organization and business unit level. Leads process for organizational changes, restructures, integrations, workforce and succession planning execution. Builds HR Budget and makes HR recommendations for topics impacting business line items. Looks for opportunities to optimize costs and operate in most effective manner. Remains current on all regulatory and legal changes regarding HR compliance and ensures full compliance. Leads projects related to the business unit’s compensation and performance management process to reward and retain people who make valuable contributions to the organization. Travel across network is required 20-25% visiting key locations on a periodic basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field 12+ years of Senior Level HR Leadership experience leading large manufacturing/operations organizations with a large hourly population Strong analytical skills. Proven track record of positively turning data into action. Excellent communication skills with ability to ensure clear sharing of information, verbally and written. Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, programs Excellent project and time management, organizational skills Detail oriented and ability to multi-task Adaptive to changing priorities Ability to influence a variety of groups, internal and external

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or Master’s Organizational Leadership, or MS Human Resources Experience across multiple facilities Experience with international hierarchies
