Senior HR Business Partner

The main purpose for this role is to provide support to the Retail Strategic People Advisors (SPAs). The Senior

HRBP will be responsible for aligning human resources strategies with the needs of various business units.

Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to effectively interact with employees at all

levels and influence organizational outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with senior management and SPA to develop and implement the HR strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor and partner to business leaders, providing advice, guidance, and support on all HR matters, including employee relations, talent management & performance management Optimize organizational effectiveness through the application of HR processes such as organizational design and strategic planning Drive talent management initiatives, including talent & succession planning, and leadership development Lead and participate in HR projects, co-ordinating with the Fuse to ensure successful delivery within timelines and budget. Track progress of initiatives and facilitate a reporting back mechanism for the SPA to relay to business during strategy review Lead and manage change initiatives across the Divisions, including re-alignment and acquisitions, and other significant changes. Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures and regulations Coordinate qualitative feedback on ‘out-of-SLA’ vacancies to enable pro-active reporting and problem solving at senior levels Compile role specific induction programmes for Senior Management and ensure coordination thereof (e.g. Head of Function appointments) Represent SPA when critical business meetings require HR input when the SPA is unavailable (e.g. management meetings that clash with strategy, present HR slot, other Group meetings, e.g. YES initiative) Drive and facilitate OD interventions together with SPA e.g. structure changes, job profiles Drive business culture initiatives through being representative on Business culture forums Coordinate people objective content for monthly communication sessions for every Brand Assist Fuse and COEs to disseminate information to the correct audiences and be the liaison to drive required responses and consolidate these and send back to requestor when required

 

Qualifications and Experience:

HR / Business Related Degree (advantageous) Minimum 10 years functional HR experience Minimum 2 years in driving change at a strategic level Demonstrated leadership competence and the ability to influence at executive levels Relevant systems familiarity and experience in a shared services environment highly desirable
