This is a brand-new role so lots of opportunity to make it your own and great development role!
We are on the lookout for a Senior HR Advisor to join us at our Livingston site supporting our Drinks Business Unit. You’ll be the on-site HR presence to provide efficient and effective support to the site team. This is a standalone role who will be the site lead in all people processes and support the delivery of the people plan in a unionised environment.
You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, based on site. We do have some flexibility on start and end times!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Build harmonious relationships with any Trade Union to ensure optimum working efficiency Provide full HR generalist support and advice to Managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relation issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated Take the lead on complex ER issues Prepare and process letters, meeting minutes and other documents as and when required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment dealing with ER and recruitment activity at HR Advisor level Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels Strong in systems; HRIS, Microsoft Office such as word and Excel A self-motivated and flexible approach with the confidence to work both in a team and with minimal supervision
