JOB SUMMARY

 

Ensure quality and production in assembling metal products partially or completely.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Develops layout and plans sequence of operations using controlled documents and production schedule.  Adjusts and distributes the schedule as needed Verifies conformance of work piece to controlled documents. Ability to troubleshoot various issues relating to the assembly of the units Computer literate for imputing pass fails, amp, rpm and voltage reading into company specific software Demonstrates experience with all aspects of loading, moving, and manipulating items with a forklift Wire Motors, Pumps, Control Panels, Heaters and all electrical components that belongs to the units Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3-5 years of manufacturing/assembly experience, including handling sheet metal; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.  The noise level in the work environment requires the use of earplugs.
