This is part of an expat multi contractor team, 24x7 HWE&M Engineering Shift team position supporting the operations and maintenance of a large scale RF Communication site across multiple systems with varying degrees of interaction\. Will be part of a multi\-contractor team of hardware and system engineers located at a OCONUS site\. Position requires a 2yr commitment on site beginning upon initial relocation\. Selectee will possibly perform pre\-deployment training and preparation at several Washington, DC area LM programs\. Personnel selected for this position will be on a rotating shift schedule to meet customer monitoring requirements\. Opportunities include qualifying as a Shift Team Lead and a path to a HWE&M day staff position\. Primary responsibility will be to provide operations and maintenance support across multiple large, integrated, complex hardware\-software communication systems in a real\-time environment and on a 24/7 shift basis\. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance support across multiple external interfaces over a robust multi\-tiered network\. Daily activities may include, but are not limited to, discrepancy report generation, work off and resolution, Operations & Maintenance training/mentoring, trending, procedure development, data collection, fault isolation, and performing real\-time manual actions to restore system capabilities\. Participation in corrective maintenance will require remove/replace, repair, and testing failed hardware\. Candidate will work closely with other on site hardware engineers to provide support for discrepancy work off, installation efforts, and special test configurations\. Will assist contractor and customer meetings by attending, participating, and/or leading\. Performance of maintenance activities will include climbing multiple sets of stairs, lifting/carrying up to 50lbs, and working in non\-environment\-controlled workspaces\. Strict adherence to all applicable administrative, safety and security policies is required\. Candidate's will be required to initially work a standard schedule and perform 24x7 shiftwork as part of training and readiness\. Ultimately candidate will be assigned to a 24x7 rotating position\.
