You're a strategic lifecycle marketing leader with deep expertise in driving revenue growth through impactful consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention programs across subscription and marketplace business models. You thrive in building strong internal and cross-functional relationships, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert and trusted, collaborative partner. You're energized by improving efficiency, optimizing resources, and delivering exceptional results through teamwork and strategic execution.  

About this role

As a Senior Manager in the Consumer Lifecycle Marketing team, you will own end-to-end lifecycle  initiatives that significantly impact our organization's objectives. You will independently manage complex lifecycle marketing efforts, cultivate meaningful internal and cross-functional relationships, and offer valuable thought leadership to establish yourself as a reliable subject matter expert. Your role demands strategic insight, operational excellence, and strong collaborative skills, enabling you to influence decision-making across various stakeholders.

What you'll be doing: 

Develop comprehensive lifecycle strategies across the full customer journey, from acquisition to engagement to retention, with clear revenue impact goals Develop internal and cross-functional relationships, establishing yourself as a dependable partner and subject matter expert Lead cross-functional initiatives with product, analytics, and pricing teams to develop integrated approaches to improving conversion, customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value through process improvement and strategic innovation Collaborate closely across diverse teams to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and boost operational efficiency Utilize data analytics to drive informed decision-making and continuously optimize marketing strategies Mentor and guide team members, supporting their professional growth and reinforcing a collaborative, results-oriented culture

What you’ll have

6+ years of experience leading lifecycle marketing for consumer businesses, with demonstrated success driving significant revenue growth in subscription or marketplace models Proven track record of building and scaling lifecycle programs that have delivered measurable business impact, with specific examples of revenue lift or retention improvement Proven ability to build strong internal and cross-functional relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted expert and collaborative partner Demonstrated expertise in marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable) and personalized customer journey development Strong analytical skills with a record of effectively leveraging data to optimize marketing performance and inform strategic decisions Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across teams and organizational levels

 

At Udemy, we strive to be transparent around compensation. Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.Hiring Compensation Range$119,000—$149,000 USD
