Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior GCP Test Engineer in Bolingbrook, IL. Core Job Responsibilities: * Responsible for developing testing strategy, test plan and test cases to support testing and execution of data pipelines for the enterprise data platform on Google GCP Cloud * Senior GCP Test Engineer will ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices * Collects testing metrics, reports status as defined in test plan with supporting data * Accountable for test data management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories * Understands and clearly articulates Known Issues, Defects and ETL Automation Process * Identify issues, risks and dependencies and communicate to program/project leadership * Actively drives communication and testing remediation * Point of contact for data platform team to answer questions identified during test execution reviews * Ensures traceability between requirements, features, user stories, test plans and outcomes * As a Senior GCP Test Engineer, you will participate in troubleshooting issues with relevant teams to achieve root cause identification and resolution * Document, track and escalate issues, as appropriate * Support production deployment of applications and perform "validation testing" * Test execution in development, test, and production environments for each release in the iterative development lifecycle * Design and create test cases and scripts to address business and technical use cases * Leverage existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
