The main purpose of this job is to implement system projects on the Oracle Financials e-Business Suite application across all financial modules, namely supplier chain management and financials. The job will entail having to implement system solutions from end to end. The job entails conducting finance projects on Oracle s e-business suite financial applications. Each project will require the following to be conducted:
Understanding of the requirement Solution design Documentation of the solution and stakeholder signoff Functional configuration of the solution on Oracle s e-business suite financial applications Managing and monitoring any technical development with technical development teams Data creation and unit testing Quality assurance, ensuring the solution is fit for purpose Training key stakeholders on the solution implemented Change management and implementation, working in tandem with business units.The projects will require the incumbent to perform research on best practices on the financial module applicable to the project at the time and recommend a solution that is fit for purpose.
The role of Senior Financial Systems Functional analyst will be:
To conduct end to end finance projects as a key function. To support e-Business suite financial applications as a backup support team member. Applications include Supplier chain management, accounts payables, accounts receivables, cash management, oracle Projects and fixed assets. All support calls logged by users on this module must be resolved within set service level agreements. Implement configuration and system enhancements on all financial modules of the e-Business suite as per business requirements. Conduct end to end testing of all financial modules of e-business suite financial modules during upgrades and when rollup patches are applied on the ERP environment. Conduct regular data cleanup exercises and ensure that data integrity on the e-business suite financial applications is not compromised. Proficient in training e-business suite financial modules and any systems implemented in this space. Ensure that training manuals and relevant functional documentation is kept up to date on shared repositories. Perform research and analysis of best practice solutions in the Oracle e-business suite space and make recommendation on process and system improvements using appropriate technology. Raise service requests with Oracle to resolve business critical issues. Enhance and implement changes required on Oracle s approval management engine. Conduct integration projects of any system that integrates to and from Oracle applications Develop high level technical SQL queries to assist in resolving queries and/or providing data extracts to the auditors.

Brief DescriptionRequirements
Undergraduate Qualification and/or Diploma in Information Management Systems or equivalent Minimum 7 years experience in performing functional support and implementation projects on Oracle e-business suite financial applications Oracle certification will be beneficial
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors)
Exposure and experience in configuring, implementing functionality and resolving system issues on Oracle e-business suite financial applications and supplier change management, preferably on the latest release of Oracle e-Business Suite(release 12.2.x). Project coordination and management skills Ability to identify key areas of improvement by performing research in the field of e-Business suite financial applications including supplier change management. Ability to write simple SQL queries for quicker problem resolution and data provision. Problem solver Analytical thinker Customer and service excellence focused Ability to operate within a team environment Sense of urgency and awareness to ensure quick turnaround times Ability to multi-task Ability to document business requirements Ability to work under pressure Process and result oriented Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Must have an interest in how systems operate and integrate to each other.
