Minimum requirements:
CA(SA) 5 to 10 years post qualification with at least 3 years working in a financial management role in a manufacturing environment Experienced in small to medium enterprises and proficient in implementing optimal financial systems in this context Extensive costing experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the automotive industry Proficiency in financial software for e.g. Pastel and Microsoft Office Suite Valid drivers license and own reliable transportation Responsibilities as a Financial Manager:
Oversee financial accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions Implement and maintain the company job costing system Oversee the cash flow plans and ensure the availability of funds as needed Manage working capital requirements of the business Develop, coordinate and monitor budgets for the entire business in its entirety Review tax calculation Review and approve all IT service contracts and equipment Review weekly and monthly payroll reports on a random basis Monitor staff performance to ensure good performance is acknowledged and poor performance corrected Provide financial analysis to assist with feasibility on potential acquisitions
