About The Job

The Senior Financial Analyst in Brightly Software is responsible for financial planning and controlling of the Services business.

The candidate will serve as the Finance Business Partner for the Professional Services North America leadership team, focusing on controlling and analyzing all service revenues, costs, and margins

Additionally, together with the Services team, this role will push the digitalization and automation of financial planning, controlling and reporting processes at Brightly to the next level.


What You’ll Be Doing:

Role Overview: Partner with the Professional Services North America leadership team, including the Vice President, Senior Director, Directors, and Managers, to support all implementation, consulting, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee financial planning, forecasting, controlling, consolidation, and reconciliation of global software services revenues, costs, and margins.Utilization & Trend Analysis: Analyze and report on utilization rates and trends within the services business.Headcount Management: Plan, report, and analyze services headcounts by position and geography.Contractor Management: Plan, report, and analyze contractor revenues and spending.Compensation Planning: Design and administer variable compensation plans for the services business.Cost & Billing Rates: Develop fully loaded cost and billing rates annually.Productivity Improvements: Support business partners in driving productivity improvements.Management Reporting: Drive and support various management reporting tasks.

What You Need:8 - 10 years of experience in services finance (preferably in a Software Business)Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or related fieldCertifications: Commercial Project Management (CPM)Software: Business Intelligence Tooling such Power BI, Tableau or similar, Salesforce PSA, ERP Software, MS Office.Able to work a hybrid schedule and regularly commute to Brightly's Headquarters in Raleigh, NCNice To Have Skills:Self-Driven and motivated professional, experienced with Financial Controlling and Modelling in a Services / Software Business.
