Overview

Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst position will serve as the primary financial business partner for various departments and business units, which includes preparing materials for financial review, variance analysis and forecasting.  Candidate must possess exceptional Excel skills and be comfortable collaborating across multiple departments and business units.  Analyst must be able to provide timely, accurate financial reporting and insights/recommendations to drive margin expansion and profitability growth.  Position will be an active participant in special projects and ad-hoc analysis with frequent interaction with department leads and senior management.  Role will coordinate extensively with Accounting, Sales and Operations on planning, budgeting and forecasting.  Analyst must be flexible and able to prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Prepares monthly financial results and operational review packages for managementMonitors performance and provides actionable variance analysis to managementWorks with management to develop budgets and forecasts, including departmental, business unit and consolidated viewsProvides decision support and ad-hoc analysis to management

 

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in consolidated spend management and review processParticipate in the overall loading and management of budgets and forecasts with the financial systems Qualifications

Required Qualifications

4 year college degree in Finance / Accounting or related field5+ years finance experience including budgeting, forecasting and reportingSuperb Excel skills including developing forecast modelsStrong understanding of GAAPStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate with others

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Finance or Business AdministrationPrevious experience with NetSuite and Hyperion / Oracle EPM Additional Information

Pay Range

$90,000 - $115,000

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
