What will you be doing?
The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the overall success of the corporate FP&A team, providing a high degree of proficiency in analyzing accounting data, identifying and communicating financial risk, and working cross-functionally with accounting and finance departments to resolve issues affecting the line of business P&L. This role is focused on reconciling backlog and assessing inventory position to mitigate risk and project the near-term forecast and annual budget, delivering value-added business analysis and meaningful financial and operational metrics that inform insightful and accurate business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparation of the weekly financial forecast. Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reporting packages including variance analysis against budget and forecast, and review results with accounting, FP&A, and Senior P&L Owners. Provide recommendations for enhanced P&L profitability. Coordinate preliminary order and service deferral resolution, and reconcile backlog, communicating and coordinating with finance and business partners to mitigate risks. Periodic review of inventory levels and coordination with operational organization and P&L Owners to minimize inventory levels and cost of capital. Prepare the annual budget, working cross-functionally with business and finance leadership to meet budget targets and timelines.
