Job Description SummarySenior Financial Analyst, ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) Finance, is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of Medication Delivery Systems (MDS) manufacturing variances, inventory, cost savings and operations costs. Senior Financial Analyst, ISC Finance will be responsible for monthly close activities including facets of manufacturing variance analysis and management reporting and is involved with the quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. This position also works very closely with our Manufacturing Plants, Operations Finance and Operations, including Change to Win team members.

Summary of Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager MDS Operations Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of Medication Delivery Systems (MDS) manufacturing variances, inventory, cost savings and operations costs. The Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance will also be responsible for monthly close activities including facets of manufacturing variance analysis and management reporting and is involved with the quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. This position also works very closely with our Manufacturing Plants, Operations Finance and Operations including Change to Win team members. 

Responsibilities 

Monthly actual reporting and analysis of plant manufacturing variances, purchase price variances, division spending, inbound freight, capitalization and amortization on manufacturing variances, capital, inventory, waste and change to win cost savings

Prepare monthly manufacturing variance reporting, plant flash reports and regional P&L drivers 

Support the process for developing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for manufacturing variances including all plants, US Headquarters and MDS Cost Centers 

Partnering with change to win team to calculate project savings and reporting of savings

Ad-hoc Projects and support including but not limited to opportunities to engage in process improvement projects and special analysis as required by management 

Requirements and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics or related field of study 

Minimum 2 years FP&A or Accounting experience required, Manufacturing Cost Accounting (preferred) 

Must be able to effectively operate with minimal supervision 

Ability to manipulate data in Excel for reports and presentations 

Previous ERP experience: SAP and BPC preferred 

Collaborate and build relationships with all partners and influence all levels of management through informed discussions and presentations 

Demonstrate an understanding of various intricacies of the accounting processes, and how the accounting activities interrelate to the company’s operational and financial processes
